Magnesium is the seventh most abundant element in the body following calcium, phosphorous, sulfur, potassium and chlorine. With its 4,190 ppm concentration of fossil stony coral, magnesium contains the third highest amount of fossil stony coral, preceded only by calcium (391,000 ppm) and carbon (119,000 ppm). Magnesium is closely related to calcium and phosphorus in its functions in the body. About 70% of magnesium is contained in the bones and teeth.
